Established in November 2006.

Quarry Coffee & Café was established November 2006 by Chef Scott Mattfeld, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York.  Scott has worked in many five- star hotels and resorts, including Milwaukee’s Potawatomi Casino.  He has also been manager of several restaurants throughout his career.  He has three children and in his spare time he loves to hunt, go hiking, play softball, and spend time with his children.  Oh, and yes, cooking is a favorite past-time, too.

Quarry Coffee & Café specializes in, gourmet coffees, Cha Cha teas, fresh homemade bakery items, and unique sandwiches.  Box lunches and large group servings are available.  Quarry Coffee & Café also offers cooking classes, book club evenings, coffee cupping’s, wine tastings and specialty dinners.  Come sit, relax and enjoy all we have to offer for your coffee pleasure!

Chef Scott Mattfeld

Scott Mattfeld, owner and chef at Quarry Coffee & Café, is a home town boy.  He was raised in Menomonee Falls and is a graduate of Menomonee Falls North High School.  Scott combined his long-time passion for art and food, and became a chef.As an honor-graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he has worked as an Executive Chef in many high profile companies including Sheraton, Hilton and Radisson hotels winning many professional awards. He has also had the opportunity to manage a French bakery with his uncle in south Florida.  Scott also carries the distinct privilege of opening Potawatomi Casino here in Milwaukee as the main kitchen chef.

Adding entrepreneurship to his list of passions, Scott opened Quarry Coffee and Café in Lannon, Wisconsin, in 2006.  Later he started Creative Catering, a unique combination providing the finest quality and service while helping you stay within your catering budget.Scott counts his three awesome children, Joshua, Thomas Patrick and Katelyn, as God’s blessings.  In his spare time, which is limited, Scott likes to help with the Boy Scouts and Men’s Fraternity at Spring Creek Church.  He also enjoys playing softball, entertaining, and has enjoyed coaching Little League and wrestling.  Scott, an Eagle Scout, also enjoys the outdoors, camping and backpacking.

The fun begins after hours.
